When you prohibit sex at all, then consent is just another rule you are breaking when you do the thing everyone else is. It’s a church problem too, IMO.

Can ESPN show the plays of the game, maybe? Ads making us miss key plays is unacceptable

So spare me the Mormon persecution complex on sports chants. Bask in being hated for being good (in our demeanor as members and in our football team).

And realize our church has helped make a lot of people hate us for very valid reasons.

But most importantly, people don’t think about how the reason BYU is getting all these chants recently is…we are very good in football and people hate that we are beating them and then being super nice about it. That engages them. We also travel so well, that shows up their attendance and fans.

I also wonder how many BYU die yards have said “Let’s Go Brandon” the last 5 years, or who still support Candace Owens as she accuses the church of killing Charlie Kirk. Such a lack of self-awareness.

Like, we donate to every opposing team we travel to this year. We try so hard to get them to like us. And whether it’s liberal schools hating us for Prop 8 and traditional politics, or conservative schools that don’t think we are Christian, they still hate us.

If that wide of a geographic and diverse background of fan bases do this, maybe ask yourself why people hate us so much?
