Log off, do some art. Nothing you read today will be accurate anyway.

In my utopian vision of the future, instead of offloading all the pointless, annoying work tasks (like reports that none one will read and needlessly opaque forms) to robots, we restructure work and society so that the pointless tasks don't happen at all.
Bring Colbert on for their evening talkshow even. It's all there to take.
Netflix can just make a news company with their money. There's a huge pool of talented folks at all levels of journalism (business and product end) suddenly available. Hard to come up with another company as well positioned to do this, or a better time to do it.
The troubling thing about the "deranged king" stuff is that there clearly are people making the calls, via him, but have absolutely zero consequences for their actions. They can just attribute it to a demented leader, and say they were just following orders, and/or had no idea
Not for nothing, but COBOL programmers are literally dying off, so finding someone to fix the mess let alone validate changes, will be almost impossible.
Team up with NazgΓ»l to tackle you at the end
I legit learned a lot from your OG sulfur post, and continue to crave more sulfuric content
How is it that these people read the same fiction I did and yet conclude that Necromancy is anything other than an obvious abomination.
I feel like the video @foldablehuman.bsky.social did for NFTs back in 2021 could just be key word replaced for the AI investment bubble. NFTs are a dead topic, but I think we live in that world now. They robber barons have figured out how to make money from bubbles built on bubbles.

*data. Large blocks of data. Could be text, could be a file, video, etc.
It's a kind of field in a database. Basically large blocks of text
I read her post as saying the reporting has shifted, not the reality on the ground. E.g. long form journalism instead of minute to minute stuff
It's liberating too. Master a dish you love, and you can get it any time, anywhere you have a grocery store and a kitchen. Don't need to rely on a restaurant, and after a few tries, it'll be even better anyway.
I'm also giving 10% to the National Parks Foundation
Been meaning to share this, but it looks like those awful new National parks passes with Trump's mug on them are starting to circulate. If you need to cover it up (and comply with the rules) I made some sleeves that feature real Park art. www.scottwurzel.com/warehouse-or...
It's difficult to imagine taking the time to defend someone as famous as RD for anything, but for RD himself, in this particular circumstance? Why even? Those minutes of their lives would have been better spent just staring blankly into the middle distance than typing out anything at all
her last name looks like one of those randomly generated chinese company names on Amazon marketplace
And if you are selling an ai legal product, and your attention to detail doesn't even go past the logo, why on earth would I trust anything coming out of your bot?
I know artist rightly worry about AI, but when complete dumb-dumbs use it for graphic design, no matter how good it gets, you'll always know. The art- / aesthetic-illiterate will not even notice when it churns out garbage, because they have garbage taste.
Hot take: get rid of the Country category altogether
The Recording Academy, the body that oversees and distributes the awards, has decided to split the prize into two distinct categories ahead of this Sunday's show: best traditional country album and best contemporary country album.
The hilarious thing is, where would Beyonce's album have gone? Clearly they intend the new category to include albums like hers to be "contemporary" but in almost all ways her album was more traditional than the wide majority of modern country
In 10 years we are going to get an *actually* good documentary about the MAKING of the Melania doc
Will they listen to other cops?
Moments before the first shot is fired, this federal agent can be seen retreating with a gun. It appears to match the general appearance of the firearm posted by DHS, including the red dot sight. This agentβs back is turned when the first shot occurs. x.com/BillMelugin_...
Detaining nerdcore rappers now? (-__-)
This is so salient. ICE is an SA-style paramilitary force deployed to arrest people for offenses equivalent to speeding tickets.
