Our counterprotest demonstration earlier today against a hate rally calling for healthcare to be forcibly withheld from trans kids was attended by almost 100 participants.

The hate rally ended without meaningful impact. We built the connections necessary to safeguard trans rights for years to come.

It's advisable to bring hearing protection, water, snacks and sunscreen. This is a low-risk demonstration but it is also always good practice to have the number of a lawyer or friend memorized or written on your person when attending demonstrations.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by posture?

We also need every bit of help from our supporters to make sure as many people as possible are aware of the counterprotest. Talking about this in 1:1 conversations or cross-posting the poster to other social media platforms and in group chats are very effective ways of doing so.

We've also been working on getting the word out through Reddit, publicly affixed posters and in-person canvassing at the September 13 white supremacist hate rally counterprotest and the upcoming September 20 Draw the Line day of action.
