Review – Future Racer 2000 Future Racer 2000 has been updated quite a bit since I first did a write-up of it in 2023. So, I figure that now’s a good time to revisit it and see if it still has the magic.

As I work on new games, it's hard not to look back on what I could improve in past games. But like CGI Jabba the Hut, new isn't always better. I just love to tinker.

This isn't a win. He's being replaced with Tom Homan, an even worse excuse for a human. Their plan depends on lightning rods to distract us from all the other horrible things theyre doing. Firing him is part of the plan.

This will repeat until they feel they no longer have to placate.

I was playing with my niece 5 and nephew 8. my niece said, “uncle tim knows how to play with kids.” Which was cute. And my nephew responded, “that’s cause he basically is a kid. Everyone in the family thinks he’s basically just a child.” And they both shouted “uncle Tim” and high fived.

my achilles heel is fixating on nailing a really specific detail but not leaving any time for the rest of it. its like having 30 minutes to bake a cake and spending 29 minutes thinking about the color palette for the frosting. im serving a trough of batter but goddamn is the frosting fancy.
