mockoranges get pretty big! some cultivar can get up to 9-10 feet tall. i would say that if you got a smallish one (3-4ft) it could be a decent outdoor potted plant, if provided a good sized pot. they like a lot of sun, and if provided the right conditions anything could grow inside!
