Love the underlying message of searching for meaning and questioning values. But the title of this article is misleading, Nietzsche most certainly did not embrace nihilism (which he thought resulted by the demise of other belief systems) but rather overcoming nihilism and the affirmation of life.
It was an honor and a privilege to study under, and work with, Bas at San Francisco State. In particular, his advanced logic course brings back so many wonderful and impactful memories. I can't think of a more deserving philosopher for such a prize! #philsci #philosophy
