Shockingly bad actually. They somehow also have an equally bad understanding of software delivery

Please take a second to read your reply out loud so you can hear it 🙂
I find it VERY telling that so few of them are considering if there is a problem here that needs solving.
If you are not going to bother reading the code your company puts in production why would you bother reviewing nano bananas
A chat history with Gemini 3.1 pro "what is the answer to life the universe and everything" Thought for 7.5M years "42"
Anyone who has tried Gemini 3.1 Deep Thought knows that it is not a coincidence that it is named after a computer that took 7.5M years to give an answer
This is where my skepticism of full agentic coding comes from. When I use AI for coding I have to correct it all the time. If I wasn't looking at the code it would deteriorate very quickly.
I have been doing a lot of AI coding lately and I still find it enjoyable. I think it is in part because I don't outsource any thinking to the AI. I never liked Claude Code much because I want to be in the loop and see every code change.
"Remember your training and you will make it back alive!"
“We are only looking for A players! If you want work life balance this job is not for you”
Real men don’t read books and drink champagne!
Obviously. His brain is super fast so he wasn’t prepared to be punched in slowmotion
I don’t know why you think he drank the champagne. That is not what he said
You are either psychic or you already heard him say more than 3 words
When people say AI is good they are not talking about IOS. Ever.
How far are you willing to go. Would you write a regex?
I would love to read your thoughts if you do decide to write something:)
I still haven’t been able to find a use case 🙁
Couldn’t every example in that article have been done cleaner with nested selectors?

To celebrate the new "border-shape" property being tested in @developer.chrome.com I made a nice little tool for helping you generate CSS shape functions.

Websites built by people are always going to be better than AI.
But if AI enables you to have your own website 👍
PR with 50k added lines
If 10x developers are a myth, how do you explain this?
It is hard to tell, But I don't think so.
I don't care who wrote the code. Who designed it?
You are just jealous because you only have 2 arms and none of them have a brush for a hand!
... Once your have generated your AI website, you could ask the AI how it works, and maybe learn to build something even better, but that is step 2.
I really love hand crafted websites, like @whitep4nth3r.com, @svenning.io, @cydstumpel.nl and @fry.design.
But AI generated websites are not the alternative to those websites.
It is the alternative to a facebook page, or a Substack.
We want more websites, if AI helps us get there that is great
No need to drag guitar hero into this.
Good to see the pants are coming out
One of the things that worry me about this take is that It is only true if we change our definition of what it means to be "better at writing code".
It now only means faster. I don't think we would have accepted that definition a couple of years ago.
