Etsy too! The way I approach my taxes is to think to myself "I ONLY have to pay taxes on my PROFITS. Everything else is deductible!"
Of course there's more nuance, but it helps remind yourself to put all the pesky fees in your deducts and 'not sweat them' during the year.

If a vibe coded app has major security flaws ie leaking your system passwords, then how is a vibe coded game any different?
Dont buy games with AI content. They are a security risk.

Serious question, and not that I *need* funding for a solo dev game project but, would people *want* to?
I really don't know if this Pirate FPS game I'm screwing around with will be good, but it does have direction and an action plan.
Either way prototypes will be free and testers get keys

So what if the Windows 12 news is fake. You should still use Linux

(Also,, psst, modern Linux DEs and distros, like Plasma, come with drawing tablet and pen support out of the box. I installed Krita on my 2-in-1 latitude and didn't need to do any extra steps to get the touch and pen controls working in Krita)

I never used CSP so I can't compare, but you can at the very least download Krita, explore it, change out its workspace layout to your liking, try it on your drawing tablet, import all your fancy brushes and palettes, and give it an honest try without having to pay anything!

Features
Krita is a professional FREE and open source painting program. It is made by artists that want to see affordable art tools for everyone.
CSP users who are considering Linux:
Unfortunately, CSP doesn't have a Linux version.
We do have Krita, which is a fully capable digital paint software.
Since I don't expect people to cold turkey, FYI IT HAS BOTH A MAC AND WINDOWS VERSION! AND ITS FREE
So you can try it out!

WMs on the other hand, like Sway, Niri, i3, are simply window mangers, and typically don't come with extra stuff you typically expect from a desktop, like a taskbar, widgets, program launchers. They're nice if you want something more custom, but a new linux user can easily be confused by them

In my other replies I outlined differences between distro and desktop environments, but I also would like to point out differences between Window Managers (WMs), and DEs.
DEs like Cosmic, Gnome, Plasma, offer a fuller desktop experience and are great for newcomers. They work out of the box

My personal recommendation is, if you have a spare drive or partition, is just install linux on that rather than using the live boot. It'll be snappier, and you can access files from your windows drive (Linux can read NTFS drives)

Yea!
So, to try a distro, you can just put it on a flash drive and boot into it. It's called a Live ISO, and you can mess about with software, the desktop, etc.
Any of the Fedora spins (Plasma is a good one), CachyOS, Pop!OS, Mint, will be good to try.

Usually distros will come with a DE already included, but that doesn't mean you have to stick to it.
On my PC I have like 4 different DEs installed because I was trying them out, but ultimately I'm on Fedora.
Changing out your distro is trickier, like installing a new OS.

All in all, it's perhaps more important to choose a distro that best suits you. That's Mint, Fedora, Ubuntu, Arch, Cachy, Debian, etc.
The Desktop Environment (DE) - Plasma, Gnome, Cinnamon, etc, can easily be installed and swapped on any distro. As easy as logging out, and back into a different DE

There's also CachyOS. It's Arch, which is notorious for being extremely customizeable but also difficult for new users since you essentially have to "build your desktop yourself" - but Cachy makes it easy for newcomers.

There's also Bazzite and Nobara, which are forks of Fedora that are super user friendly and "gamer ready", what I recommend to those who aren't super tech savvy but want to try Linux. But since it's just another Fedora flavor, you can make base Fedora work for your needs.

I think Mint is fine to start with. But, usually people end up not liking Ubuntu long term and switch off.
Personally, I really like Fedora. It's stable and up to date.
Plasma spin gives you a mac/win-like experience.
Gnome is, well, gnome. You either love it or hate it lol.

I stream videos. I play games (old and new!). I do art. I code. I chat with my friends. I do freelance work. I can splice videos and edit audio. I do pixel art. I work on my silly little projects. I sculpt and do 3D modeling.
Yea, so what, I had to ditch the entire Adobe suite. But it's better here
