Sorry to burst the bubble, but ChatGPT is not doing "real-time retrieval".
I've lost count of how many times this week I’ve read that ChatGPT or AI Mode is "retrieving information from the internet in real time with RAG”.
It’s not.
What’s actually happening is far more familiar.
Absolutely agree with this.
And to add to it: most of the guidance around content chunking and semantic triples is rooted in good technical documentation.
Be clear, make things easy to find, and explain the terms you're using.

We're panicking about the dashes people use, but still missing the obvious signs of crappy, thin content. LinkedIn needs to do something about it, or it will become the first site to surrender to the dead internet.
