Three panel comic. Panel 1: people playing basketball in front of a crowd. The player with the ball is up against a guy playing close defense. Panel 2: the player attempts to spin off the defender by shoulder checking him, but the defender immediately falls apart, revealing multiple little green elves. Panel 3: the first player looks astounded at the floor. On it is a group of mildly injured elves surrounded by pieces of a human costume.
This was pretty challenging to type out in text form but I tried my best

Bare Bones cafe has a lotta space, and a take 1 leave 1 puzzle library. No couches, but a lotta table space.

I also like common grounds for their furniture a brews, but it's often packed.

All those years of "The nanny state libs are coming for your sodas, they're coming for your hamburgers, they're coming for your steaks!" shrieking from Republicans, just to wind up with this dude as their avatar.

I appreciate that bookmarking posts here is private cuz I don't want anyone getting the wrong idea about all their posts I'm saving. I just want to share them with my wife after work.

Rage On Treasure Island by DaLivelyGhost, openabox, Gardenia for Build Your Own Game Jam 2026 Enjoy a game of pinball in an unjust world

Finished my game jam. Learned a valuble lesson that if you make a game centered around physics, you're gonna spend a lot of development time putting guardrails on those physics itch.io/jam/byogamej...

Cut it out with the centralized matchmaking! That's for triple a companies with deep pockets! Give your players a server browser and the tools to build their own community, and maybe you might survive the winter!

With how many gaas games immediately crash and burn (even ones with a couple million players!) it's more imperative than ever to build your multiplayer game around the idea that you as a company will not live long enough to maintain it

This bit in the From Russia With Love game made me laugh out loud. You've got a fairly grounded, low key fight based on the one in the movie, then the most video game looking fucker of all time slides into frame.

PANEL 1: NARRATOR: "Cultivating the measured NPR cadence and placid deference to the military that characterizes the ideal neoliberal subject, Clark Kent returns to the editorial meeting..." A group of DAILY PLANET reporters are in a meeting, Clark Kent is responding to a question from his boss. CLARK: "Well, chief, the bombing campaign--"

PANEL 2: Clark is talking and the other reporters and co-workers look unhappy. CLARK: "Obviously war in the region is not-ah-"ideal," but regime change could ultimately provide socioeconomic benefits that far outweigh the regrettable civilian casualties..." CLARK (thinking): "As Superman, last son of Krypton, these words of course sicken me; however, it's Clark Kent's job to manufacture consent!"

PANEL 3: (inset in a larger panel) One reporter is whispering to another. REPORTER: "Kent is such an off-putting sociopath" REPORTER 2: "I hope he kills himself". An arrow points to this inset panel that reads "Thanks to super-hearing" from Clark's ear. Clark is smiling and thinking to himself. CLARK (thinking): "Looks like my secret identity as Clark Kent is safe...FOR NOW!"

Please restrain from drinking too much as you have been warned from your staff and stay off social media when you are drunk. I pray in his holy month you find peace and respect for your self,

We are At War now, according to President Bush, and I take him at his word. He also says this War might last for "a very long time."
Generals and military scholars will tell you that eight or 10 years is actually not such a long time in the span of human history - which is no doubt true - but history also tells us that 10 years of martial law and a wartime economy are going to feel like a Lifetime to people who are in their twenties today. The poor bastards of what will forever be known as Generation Z are doomed to be the first generation of Americans who will grow up with a lower standard of living than their parents enjoyed.
That is extremely heavy news, and it will take a while for it to sink in. The 22 babies born in New York City while the World Trade Center burned will never know what they missed. The last half of the 20th century will seem like a wild party for rich kids, compared to what's coming now. The party's over, folks.
