Remember how great it was when you were a baby dragon and you came across statues of adult dragons and head butting them would set them free and they’d be super grateful. I miss that whimsy in my life.

I played 1.0 then from 2.0 onwards I played through to endgame, stayed engaged for like .1 or .2, dropped it for nearly a year, get back on at the next .0 get back to endgame… repeat right through to EndWalker. Love the game but don’t have the time I had in my early 20s 😭 I miss it and my Roegadyn

I often worry I don’t spend enough time at work first hand coding anymore. Solving a client’s urgent go-live issue by diving into abstract framework code and determining which (seemingly very unrelated to the problem) configuration needed adjusting promises those skills are still there.

Oh nice! I’ve used an internal proprietary framework at a company which gives type safety for queries and later hands off to the ORM. I’ve wanted something similar for my own projects and you may have just given it to me!! The fact jOOQ lets you hook in to observe or transform too…. Very exciting!!

I loved the testing framework - I’m a big TDD fan, so having great testing tools out of the box with Vaadin gave me exactly what I want!

Is this a unit test for a Vaadin view? I’ve used it once before and was impressed at how quickly you can get something going.

My favourite bit: a player suspects someone, makes up incentives the traitors must have based on nothing, uses that to confirm the suspect is a traitor, presents it to the group as irrefutable “facts and evidence”, gets a faithful evicted and is shocked 🤯

That’s a way of making sure the next year is better than the last I’ve not seen before 😂
