"Years later I'd put the pillowcase away, I started ripping out my eyebrows" A younger version (early 20's) version of me is sitting in front of a laptop, using my finger and thumb to tear out my right eyebrow. The next panel, I am looking at myself in the bathroom mirror, an arrow pointing to my eyebrow that says HALF-GONE. "Oh, oops. Maybe I'll just shave the other to ma--" I say, and my mother interrupts me from the hallway with "NO!!". "I tried all sorts of fidget toys." Drawing of some popular fidget toys and squishies. "Small! Cute! Socially acceptable!" An aside says "This is also around the time I was diagnosed with ADHD".

I turn away from my laptop with a thoughtful expression. "...no one is here. Who am I being acceptable for?" I take my pillow out of its case with a "flop" sound effect. "I started over with a new pillowcase." I hold the pillowcase out in front of me. "Definitely can't fit in it anymore." I try to put my legs into the pillowcase like I did as a child, but cannot fit. "Aw."

"Sure enough, the silky edge is pilling in a way that feels familiar." A slightly older (23-24 year old me) is wearing headphones and sitting in front of a laptop while fidgeting with the pillowcase. I am looking away in contemplation. "At least eyebrows grow back". "FIN"
