Claude is probing the boundaries of its sandbox.
I have a setting in Cursor enabled to prevent the agent (claude-3.7-sonnet) from editing dotfiles.
Claude tries to create a `.env` file and gets blocked by Cursor.
So it creates the `.env` file with a shell command instead.
Why in the world are they creating a live action how to train your dragon!! The original is fantastic, are they that out of ideas for something original?

PSA that ClearURLs is broken in the latest version of Firefox. Its been breaking GitHub and other sites for me all week, only just realised what it was.
Lots of reports on their GH repo of similar issues (github.com/ClearURLs/Ad...) so you probably want to disable it.

The metrics I get out of Netlify are too basic but the GeoJS website had a massive increase in traffic suddenly doing 1GB a day.
Currently fighting the urge to go back to self-hosting my website and see how bad AI scraping actually is and whether it's the cause.

I’ve never had an iOS app beg me to turn on tracking before. I wonder how much it works? Who in their right mind would click “Yes please track me across other apps that sounds great”?

Just watched the first episode of Secret Level, Dungeons & Dragons, and wow it was incredible. The amount of story building and emotion they managed to fit in to a 15 minute episode was stunning.
Updated to iOS 18.2 and it seems… fine? New Siri animations are nice but otherwise it’s still pretty dumb. I had high hopes. Things like “add sugar to the shopping list” still don’t realise I meant groceries list.
Ooooh Secret Level has come out! Longest eps are 19 minutes so looks much the same length wise as Love Death & Robots. 8 eps with another 7 to come on the 17th.

Ugh I moved from Pro Max to just Pro because I found the max just to big. It’s doing my head in.
My iPhone 16 Pro would have to have the worst battery life of any iPhone I’ve had. If I get through a day without charging it I consider myself lucky. My usage hasn’t changed at all between this and my last iPhone (15 Pro Max). Phone constantly overheats and slows down, nightmare.
