Yesterday’s side event carried one powerful message: the Amazon cannot be protected without indigenous leadership!
COP30 shows again that indigenous peoples are not just simple stakeholders - they are rights-holders & leaders of global climate solutions.
📣 Raising indigenous and local voices at COP30
At #COP30, our focus is clear: making sure the voices of our members and indigenous partners are heard where it matters. This year, we supported several partners in getting to Belém - because true climate action needs everyone at the table!
🌍 Children are calling for real climate action!
At #COP30, we had the honour of bringing the voices of children to the global stage & presenting the Green Footprints Campaign results to Noura Hamladji, Deputy Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC. A big thank you to every child who took part!
After the European Parliament signaled it could reject the initial proposal for the next long-term EU Budget 2028-2034, the Commission introduced welcome revisions. But there is room to improve. See our 10-point plan for an EU budget that really delivers!
