Without giving away HOW it did so, what single moment changed your life more than anything (if you can think of one)?
Windows 14 rumored to have a free trial with no limit on playtime all the way up to level 70, including the award winning expansions "Heavensward" and "Stormblood," sources say.
Joy is rare in these times. Savor it.
It appears that she was doing a keynote and Q&A when the news broke. Part for the course for these fucks.
If you're at the airport and Kristi Noem is doing the ominous little message from the TSA screens, you no longer have to do anything she says. Leave your laptop in the case, whatever.
you wanna grow the game of baseball? announcers that make the game easy to understand for newbies while keeping it light and entertaining to listen to. some teams have this!
most important? you gotta *let people see your games instead of spreading them out over 50 expensive services*

BUPPY SPOTTED
Goomba, sitting silhouetted in front of a storm door.
This neighborhood ain’t gonna bark at itself.
Do “accidental discharges” happen? Sure. No manufacturing process is perfect. But think of it like car wrecks. What’s more likely, that the wheel fell off on its own or that a driver made a mistake?
Call this buffoonery what it is. And don’t stop demanding better.
I don’t know whether these writers are versed in firearms, so I can’t entirely expect them to grasp the difference.
The officials quoted in the article though? They DAMN well should. And their use of “accident” is as infuriating as it is predictable. Incompetent fucks.
You can read the article here: www.ibtimes.co.uk/ice-agents-a...
Worth noting that it appears to be a scrape-and-repeat of an article from Black Information Network, which in turn was from a Newsweek article. Only BIN didn’t have “accident” in their headline.
“Okay Shout, so what’s the difference?”
Broadly speaking: if a firearm discharges because of mechanical failure, that’s an “accidental discharge.” If it happened because the user somehow fucked up, that’s a “negligent discharge.”
In 2 of 3 cases in IBJ-UK’s article, it’s very clearly the latter.
And if you’re not familiar with any of that, the short explanation is that I treat a gun with the same sort of attention and respect as a power tool. There are a small number of correct ways to use it, and you’ve got no business with one if you don’t know how.
Biases first. I’ve owned firearms, and while it’s been an age, I enjoy recreational shooting. I’ve also been trained to respect firearms appropriately. I know Cooper’s 4 rules (and I have opinions on where they fall short). I’m far from expert, but I’m not uninitiated either.
Strong opinion moment here.
There is a difference between an “accidental discharge” and a “negligent discharge.” A MASSIVE difference. And the International Business Times UK (this headline’s source) is on the wrong side of it.
These weren’t accidents. These were negligence.
You mean the guys who couldn't qualify for the military or police force are actually not all that talented?
I'm so shocked.
