Something I ❤️ about Hytale is the fact they have bug bounty payouts from day one.

Had friends who’ve pentested MC and have gotten nothing in return, other companies would give $$$$$.

Not having bug bounties opens the door to only bad actors with malicious intent being the ones finding flaws.

It's irritating because the game truly has a whole lot of potential. There's such a spark there, movement and building feels so fun, all the animations feel so fluid and alive.

But for it to truly become something outstanding, and be something that can stand on its own, we need to be harsh.

I actually like the game right now, I wanna give it a little while and play more before making a post on my full opinions.

One thing about Hytale I don’t like is the core Twitter community.

They glaze Hytale way too much and try to shy away from any form of pushback or criticism.

This is *NOT* how an early access game will succeed. Community members need to speak honestly about how things suck and how to improve.

I'd like it to be more different to Minecraft. It's very polished, but the feeling I get when I play is that I'd rather just play Minecraft. It's very early, though, and I know modding will be an important aspect. I will definitely play more later.

Tried my best to re-create a human version of my Minecraft/Penguin avatar in Hytale.

Making non-humanoid characters is very difficult so decided to just settle for making him human. Blue skin looks too much like a smurf!

Let's not forget they're charging up to $70 for the special edition of the game and released it in an unfinished state.

Bug fixes should be non-negotiable. Attitude like the photo is what got the Hypixel server in it's current state of stagnation and lack of update for non-skyblock.

The core Hytale community glazes the game laughably too much lol.

Bar is set at "they did bug fixes instead of doing nothing" less than 24 hours after release day.

Game is pretty fun! Haven't played enough to form proper opinions just yet, just saw this tweet and wanted to point it out.

Seeing how little Hypixel update their Minecraft server nowadays, I'm quite cynical about them supporting this game for the long haul.

Hypixel have notoriously been all promise, no action with their server, so it makes me have very little expectations for the game. I want it to be fantastic though!

Find it funny it took them like a decade to realize "idea! we should just release in alpha" even though it's a "Minecraft Clone".

We always forget how lucky we are with Minecraft, a game that's been getting free updates for over 15 years. Like it's literally amazing.

Certainly want major updates in the future, but I'm more than happy with them spending the next year or so just mostly improving forgotten features and making the art style more consistent, it's just wonderful and fun!

It has recently come to my attention that baby parrots do not exist in Minecraft. (you simply can't breed them)

This shalt not stand. 🦜

The drop system definitely has its issues, but something I like most about it is how older, forgotten features can finally get the attention they deserve.

New baby textures are so cute, and honestly something I really overlooked ever getting an update. Excited for what's to come in 26.1!

This whole situation goes deeper than the thread suggests, but 80% of the 'highest value' accounts based on number of capes have been hijacked through this.

Not sure what MS/Xbox could even do other than not allow people to transfer Xbox through support.

Not letting info even get leaked would've been helpful, but social engineering is always the weakest link.
