Our interstellar visitor, 3I/ATLAS, is just about to have its last spacecraft encounter, next week with the Juno spacecraft. and I thought people might like to see how it is fading out, with its brightness more or less following the models we fit in late December.

Oil price spiked then mostly went back down.
One of the weirder market moves I've seen. Big supply crunch makes price rise, then with the supply crunch continuing unabated falls back to close to where it was.
steady demand + supply crunch = price rise
Or at least that's how it's supposed to work.

I am going to be extremely upset if the major outcome of this dumb war against Iran is to collapse the one fragile mostly-kinda-democracy (with big, significant problems, to be clear) we managed to create in the Middle East.

At this increased rate of warming it means 2.5C above 1850 levels arrives by 2039 - that’s less than 14 years from now. Not 2100.
