UK accused of 'collective punishment' over Sudanese students ban Students accepted to British universities say visa ban could shatter their plans to study abroad and help rebuild their war-torn countries

"UK accused of 'collective punishment' over Sudanese students ban"

For Dafallah, the announcement was devastating. The 23-year-old had just secured a place at the University of Oxford to study a master’s degree in health service improvement and evaluation.

Starmer actually allowed the USA use of Diego Garcia with the proviso that they only attack missile sites and not for widespread bombing campaigns in populated areas.

The UK has made clear it has no intention to join the war but will shoot down drones over Qatar, Iraq, and Jordan.

Trump is lying.

This just backs up what I've observed earlier - that Reform are their own worst enemy.

Once the public gets a taste of their governance style, corruption and incompetence - they change their mind.

But also nationally Reform seemed to have peaked in popularity and are losing support.

It seems rather more than coincidental that the Afghanistan-Pakistan conflict began in earnest just days before the US-Iran war. Especially as Trump has repeatedly praised the military leadership in Pakistan.

I'm sure there's been some behind the scenes encouragement going on here.

I think Labour would be polling much better if they had recognised the damage Brexit was doing in 2024 when they got elected and were open and honest about it in terms of how it's affecting the UK economy.

It's essentially slowly destroying the Labour government like the Tories before them.
