In Truckee this week, few miles from Frog Lake. Relentless snow past 24 hours. Couldn’t even leave the house today as no visibility w/ the snow/wind combo. Really hope there’s some good news on this.

I was so so cold there all week. Was rough outside. Stay in Mex. I usually want more NYC, but today was very happy to be back in my Mediterranean climate.

I selfishly love listening to this show. It’s the night I was born. First ever Scarlet. First ever Cassidy. And first night they used the full wall of sound.

I think about this a lot. House I grew up in Louisville was much bigger then what I’m raising my kids in here in CA. But after living in a San Francisco 700 sq ft apt for 15 years…our house in Alameda feels enormous. It’s not, but I love it.

I use both. SWA for intra west coast & anything family (companion). United for longer trips. I prefer SWA, better rewards program, better reliability, & I actually like the open seating. Im concerned that may all change in 2026.

10/6 I was walking between the 100/200’s. A glowstick hit me (nbd) & I picked it up, tossed it in the air. Immediately my right arm forcibly was pulled behind my back by security- “you’re outta here!!”. Thought I was gone. Instead I was deposited to the lawn. He left, I walked back to my seat 🤣
