Wouldn't you say the opposite of 'urge to destroy' is the 'urge to create'?

Will to live and urge to destroy can overlap so I wouldn't put them necessarily on opposite ends of the spectrum.

I think human nature teeters between destruction and the capacity to build and foster growth.
