Yes!! I've also thought about this with regards to clerics of Bhaal. Clerics are usually healers even though they all have some necromancy magic. So bhaalist death clerics exemplify his paradoxical will to kill... but then his practical need for a cult of "healthy" weirdos to do it for him lol.
