Now we have experienced directly what hundreds have reported ecosystem-wide about BlueSky’s deactivation behavior.

These actions do not effectively protect people and do not reflect modern best practices around manual or automated moderation.

Their account and many others have been deactivated despite no violating behavior.

They've received no response 10 days after replying that they'd "validated" weeks/months prior.

It has been nearly 10 days since our affiliate's account was again deactivated ( @sistahvegan.org ), though the account has still not demonstrated any violating behavior. They responded same-day to a validation request they'd already done.

Norma and her daughter Nina came to VINE in 2020, after Norma injured a dairy worker to stop him from taking Nina away. She was scheduled for execution, but the worker plead for mercy because "she was just being a good mother." You can be merciful too, by choosing plant-milks!
