Same thing happened to me when I played for the first time.

Like SF6 has a pretty simple aesthetic but besides Alpha that's always been the case? But it also helps that if I look at SF2 and SF6 I can still say that it feels like Street Fighter.

I don't have that with Strive. And I was someone that thought Strive could get better.

I miss when fighting game aesthetics had some effort.

I don't know what happened but not every game needs to have this bland and clean UI and it doesn't work. I think the only one that manages to mix with it is Melty cause that's been the case for it before Type Lumina.

But the rest?

in my opinion, there should be consequences for what they did with Strive's UI.
