We're back, sorry for the inconvenience. It was the upgrade of the Docker image. I'll investigate more tomorrow and see if I can add automatic testing for the built image to prevent this from happening again.

The last hotfix killed the server. My current guess is that the FrankenPHP Docker base image was updated since last time, currently rebuilding with an older version.

Facts!
Thursday the okapi in fursuit pointing at the camera with other people in the background
Ran into @templarthursday.bsky.social at NFC 2026. That makes at least two okapis at the con, time to finally put us onto the species list, nordicfuzzcon.org. I don't want to sign up as "other" every year. π’
Cheers!
As long as the alternative service has an API, automating things should be pretty straight forward. I've looked at Stoat for example to understand how I could transfer my bot's functionality. In short, like Discord from years ago, but possible.
fvn.li crossed 1.000 listed FVNs today.
A big thank you to everyone who keeps submitting new entries, to all the people visiting the site, and of course all the wonderful creators out there who create all the FVNs in the first place!

Are you a VN dev using Ren'Py?
Then I've got news for you! Closing out 2025 on a high note, the first release of my Ren'Py debugger is now out.
Set breakpoints, step through your script, inspect variables. No more renpy.log() debugging at 3am.

Hah, could maybe have added some explanation.
The feature is directly inspired by how Steam handles it. Logged in users can set games onto ignore and henceforth act like they never existed. It's pretty basic for now, in the future I might extend it to work on tags as well.
fvn.li Update time:
- Added full support for Steam games, including reviews
- Added basic support for custom external pages
- Added option to ignore FVNs (only for logged in users)
- Fixed dialogue search
- Improved site performance

The redesign of fvn.li is finally live! And the first batch of launch bugs has been squashed.
Some new features:
- All new start page
- Dark / Light mode switch in the menu
- New search engine with more flexible matching
- Easy access to public lists and newest ratings

Screenshot of a form section titled βDownloads.β It shows one entry labeled βLink 1β with a trash can icon for deletion. The form includes fields for link name, platform, URL, and an optional release date and time. The link name is βTEST LINK,β the platform dropdown is set to βWeb,β and the URL field contains βhttps://www.google.com.β The release date and time field shows β10/10/2025 02:05β and is labeled as optional. Beneath it, small text reads: βLeave empty to make the download available immediately. The download will automatically appear when the release time is reached.β
I just added a small new feature to fvn.li
You can now set a release time for download links, to control when they should appear on your project's page. Input is in your local time.
Thanks to @wayfinderlavan.bsky.social for the idea.

This is the same type of phishing / scamming happening on Discord. The next step in this is getting you into contact with fake support staff who then tries to trick you into handing over account details.
If anyone ever tells you that they "accidentally" reported you, report them, block, move on.
So many wonderful subtle acting choices in this animated short. Super solid. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQb_...
Giving the new fvn.li embed a spin. Links to the list will now show a collage of the first 8 entries.
Additionally, props to Yaonam for providing the project's first ever PR, adding a Trending sort option: fvn.li?sortField=tr...

Oh, I meant that in a way that even in normal times their response times had already been ridiculously slow. Like, last year, the Novembear jam disappeared from the jam calendar when it started. By the time I got a first response, the jam had been halfway over.
I had to contact itch support a couple times before, while they were not in the middle of a chaotic breakdown, and it always took them around 2 weeks to respond. I can only imagine the response times they've got now.
I'd appreciate any sort of support. I don't have anything fully set up so far, only a very naked ko-fi that I ought to finish getting up and running.
The fnv.li typo now exists as a real address that redirects to fvn.li
Ack, late night typo. π fvn.li
Sorting by recently added is now possible: fvn.li?sortField=fi...
Game page for "After Passion" showing a thumbnail with two anthropomorphic characters, platform icons, NSFW label, developer names, and buttons for syncing, editing, and enabling a custom page.
Screenshot of the fvn.li image upload interface for the project description section. It shows three selected image files with filenames and file sizes. A blue info box below states: βNote: This section is for uploading images to include in your description text. Screenshots are managed separately in the main gallery section below.β The interface supports PNG, JPG, GIF, and WebP formats up to 10MB each.
Screenshot of an image selection dialog with a dark blue interface. The header reads "Select an Image" with instructions to click on an image or upload a new one. Two thumbnails are visible.
Screenshot of a rich text editor in "Edit" mode with a section titled "Game Description." The editor contains a centered image of a an okapi wearing sunglasses and lounging on lettering spelling "Akiba". Below the image is italicized text that reads: "The grand adventures have already been had. An epilogue to a story that hasnβt been written." Formatting options (bold, italic, alignment, etc.) are visible at the top of the editor, and the interface uses a dark theme. A "Preview" toggle is available next to the "Edit" tab.
Page editing is now online on fnv.li. This is a beta beta feature, expect bugs.
Once you've authenticated with your itch.io account, go to the detail page of your project, and click on edit to customize the page content.
You can click on "Disable Custom Page" to reset everything.

It's just link fields that can be filled out with links to whatever devs want to use.
That's not something I currently have readily available for sorting, I'll have to add that option first, and store the date of when something got added.
The site started as an index, but the things I've been adding the last couple of says have all been to allow people to edit their own projects.
However, I don't intend to offer file hosting or payment integration, as both of them open several cans of worms.
Maybe a future Patreon integration.
I'm not sure I understand the question. What's the idea?
Screenshot of the analytics dashboard from fvn.li showing data for the past 30 days. The top left summary shows: 1 Page View, 0 itch.io Visits, and 1 Download. Below, a line chart titled "Analytics Overview" displays data points for Page Views (blue), itch.io Visits (purple), and Downloads (green) from June 28 to July 27. Only the last day (July 27) shows activity, with 1 page view and 1 download. Below the chart, key insights indicate: 0% of page viewers visited the itch.io page, 100% of page viewers downloaded the game, βTEST LINKβ is the most popular download, and the page averaged 0.1 unique views per day that week. The last page view occurred 14 seconds ago.
I just added links tracking and reporting to fvn.li. Project page visits, clicks to visit the itch.io page, as well as clicks on custom links are now getting tracked and reported.
"Unique" clicks counts clicks per user only once per 24 hours, while "Total" counts every single one.
