Kicking off my #bhm with Malcolm X viewing.

BLM, MeToo, these were some some of the movements that broke through consciousness to the point where those who had been passively accepting a status quo they knew still favored their status had to choose whether they’d truly support progress or not.

The backlash is proof of progress.

Black Lives Matter fundamentally broke these people’s brains. They couldn’t bear the idea that they might have to tell a different story about this country and thus tell a different story about themselves. They hated it, and now they are using everything they have to never feel that way again.
