Confused - shouldn't people be using MariaDB these days?
13W3 connector with 3 RGB coaxial insert pins
13W3 is where it's at
2,200 dog attacks against Royal Mail staff in 2024, thats 6 per day
Things like this are why I switched to @kagi.com and @proton.me
YYYY-mm-dd or bust
The first time I played this I thought I'd made a mistake, like maybe I bumped the crystal against the sides, and reloaded a save game over and over
I imagine this would strongly depend on the specific collection of girls or the collection of boys, you'd want an extremely large sample size and repeated experiments before drawing general conclusions.
Looks very cool! Which environment and model did you use?
Whoa, I had no idea that existed :-) Thanks for sharing!
Wow, how cool! Lemmings for the C64. Will have to try this ๐ Played a lot of Lemmings on my Amiga 1200 back in the day
Used to play it with my mum and dad. Required patience to figure it out! Very fond memories
In the UK you can pay ยฃ2.99/m (and something similar in Europe) to remove adverts from Instagram. Makes it much more pleasant. I imagine (hope!) doing so drops that figure significantly
I actually have blocked the news section via a custom ublock filter because of all the awfulness going on in the world:
! Hide News tab in Kagi search results

! Hide the News section/widget if it appears

Good on you, if only more people did the same. People need to vote against anti-customer business practices with their wallets. Also, MariaDB has been out for over 15 years so it's not like people have to go to Oracle for MySQL - they can get a compatible DB from the original team.
Great advert. Shame UK confectionary can't say the same thing. It has all shrunk, with premium quality ingredients swapped for HFCS and Palm Oil. The worst offenders are Roses and Quality street, Christmas staples, with foil wrappers and tin boxes replaced with plastic ๐ฅฒ I want a time machine!
Now I want a CNC machine big enough to make this
Sony needs to do a massive comeback, resurrecting the best of their designs over the decades and combining them with modern technology to produce something that's new, relevant yet retro inspired. I'm sure people would go crazy for it.
Office being renamed to Microsoft 365 Copilot was the last straw for me. Microsoft have turned highly anti-consumer. It's a shame the entire business world depends on MS Teams ๐คฎ
An Amiga 1200 in a black case attached to a Sony Trinitron 20" CRT monitor and a Dell 4k monitor, with Civilization displaying on the CRT and CaffeineOS displaying on the Dell.
A screenshot of CaffeineOS's About page showing it is running on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B as part of a pistorm32lite, with Kickstart 45.57 and Workbench 45.3, 2MB chip RAM, 512KB slow RAM, 1804MB Fast
An external Gotek, a large MicroSD card to put CaffeineOS on, and a MicroHDMI->HDMI lead so my Pistorm could finally be plugged into my monitor. Gave Civilization a spin! Now all I need is A1200.net to finally ship my CD32 keycaps (been waiting 7 years now) and the setup is complete.
Laser is where itโs at. Inkjet is just a vehicle for Big Printer and the Ink cabal.
Given the rate of improvement of Gen AI we are incredibly close to being unable to tell fact from fiction, and that genuinely terrifies me. The only mistake I can see is the unreadable garbled text on the lower part of the box.
I love how Europe is somehow a threat to US Democracy due to supposedly having restrictions on free speech yet the USA is actively censoring documentaries.. how does that work exactly? Can a MAGA supporter please explain? Iโm confused.
They seem fine at picking up dust and they get quite dirty over their lifespan. I live next to a building site so my main issue is dust. Not sure how good they are at pm2.5 and VOCs, your millage may vary!
Iโve got Levoit units and they certainly suck up a lot of dust, and have a mesh pre-filter you can vacuum clean. My fav is the Vital 200s, quite hard to get in the UK but itโs a great size/throughput. I have a 100S which is great too. Plenty of cheap 3rd party filters also which keeps costs down
Gameboy?
An exclusion of hermits
Mine just turned up too!!! Just in time for Christmas, how magical ๐
