The new "Creative Houses" approach will see them focus on 5 pillars:
- Behemoths: Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Rainbow Six.
- Shooters: The Division, Ghost Recon.
- Live Services: Skull & Bones, The Crew.
- Narrative/Fantasy: Anno, Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil.
- Casual/Family: Mobile and social games.
As a massive fan of the original PoP: Sands of Time, I am gutted to see the remake has been cancelled...
Obviously, the bigger story is what exactly Ubisoft is planning? I think we're now in the era of ultra-consolidation, with studios looking to minimise risk and go all in on established IP...
Yeah, from what I'm hearing from people actually at Ubisoft studios... nobody is happy with the news except for the bosses, who are experiencing the same mass delusion as every other CEO who thinks that AI will finally rid them of these meddlesome 'employees'.

The closure of Ubisoft Halifax just after the studio formed a union in December certainly feels like unfortunate timing, if, as Ubisoft has said, it was pre-planned.
Anyone got any thoughts on this? Definitely looks to be Union-busting in my opinion?
