I had the great pleasure of beta reading BLUDEYE BEACH, and let me tell you, it is such a treat. If you love supernatural horror and sweet romance, you will love this book. I'm buying a copy immediately.
So I distracted myself from the immediate task but
I wrote a novel, y'all. I'm still super burned out and it was *agonizingly hard* to do and I had a lot of "I shouldn't have agreed, I am a fraud, all those books were flukes and my time is done"

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.
A reminder that this anti-trans panic is 100% bullshit and exactly none of our country’s problems are related to someone expressing their gender identity and everyone who isn’t a hate-filled weirdo knows it.

Being able to tell my story, my truth, has always been important to me. There are too many mistruths floating around out there that seem to be readily believed by everyone. I’m not entirely sure why I care, I guess it’s human nature. But to be so misunderstood, to have the person who cut you open out there turning you into the villain, it’s infuriating. It’s enough to make someone go mad. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t care what he thinks at all. He knows the truth. I know the truth. But he’s out there making up his own truth and that doesn’t sit right with me.
