Pretty sure my cab driver set his Waze to use comic sans and now I suddenly donโt feel very safe
I'm a 36-key miryoku layout stan and I proselytize to anyone that will listen
(the list of people willing to listen is not very long)
screenshot of RBC bank website where a disclaimer is written that "transactions made today or over the weekend may not be included" in the transaction export.
It's completely absurd that downloading transaction data from a bank has to come with this disclaimer in 2025/2026:
Forget Leetcode for interviews, the real test of skill is being able to write a non-trivial vim regex without looking up the syntax

Did every chat application suddenly decide that collapsible sidebar drawers weren't a thing anymore? Element (Matrix), Slack, etc. now have these gigantic sidebars (sometimes two!) that just take up a ton of visual space ๐ซ
1. Amazing; love this!
2. That Microsoft logotype is _aweosome_
Does anyone know the VAT rate for antimatter? ๐

I'm not saying I'm a stereotypical Quรฉbecois, but I did just devour a bag of cheese curds with some spruce beer, so take from that what you will.
Customer support requests really do be like:

In-progress home renovations always stress me out, especially when it's in the demolition/destruction phase. My brain just can't cope with it.

wait you didn't get your tax lollipop? wow the USA really is dropping the ball these days, huh
My all-time favourite bug: some of our users would create events on their phone, but couldn't find them afterwards.
Those users (in SE Asia) had their phones set to use the Buddhist calendar; we were using the "local" calendar API in iOS. Events were created just fine, but 543 years in the future!
what idiot called it async/await instead of wait/what
