Had to be prior to 1977 Apple apparently either moved in or took the keys in early 1978.

TIL: Apple's Bandley One was also a Four-Phase office.
I'm sorry, /what??/
We're on municipal service and quite close to the water tower.
I mean I've heard the hammer banging off around the same time every night since I moved back home in 2012 but in the last year it seemed the hammer was getting increasingly more aggressive. It's being forwarded to the city.
I was wondering what was going bump in the night and it turns out itβs the most savage water hammer you can imagine.
Whatβs causing it? No idea! Probably a pump and a valve out of sync somewhere when it shifts a load.
Man, I'd J-hook those caps all day. This monitor sucks.
You said you needed random PC and machine screws.
You're welcome! :y
WHY DOES THIS HAVE OVER 70 CAPACITORS INSIDE OF IT??? THIS IS A FIXED FREQUENCY MONOCHROME MONITOR. I KNOW TUBE TV'S THAT HAVE LESS WAX AND PAPER IN THEM!
Apple, what the hell were you smoking when you designed this??
It's gone full inverted.
What the......
SCSI
Small Computer System Interface. It was a standard interface for a few decades before faster technology replaced it.
I have never seen horizontal smearing and inverting this bad before. This is like a bad trip.
Someone is REALLY unhappy that I woke them up after too many years in storage for #MARCHintosh . π¬
That poor thing is so fragile I don't even want to handle it now. :C
Disappearing Inc gave me the whole stack for free because they were so awfully yellowed. We pulled the tower and a lot of other mac stuff out of a wet garage somehing like 16 years ago.
Technically it's still winter here but only 20% humidity. CRT's generally don't care at that point unless you plug them in immediately after bringing it inside.
But yeah, I wish I had an actual on-site storage space. :/
Someone asked if I have ever seen CD burners that used CD caddies.
I can say I haveβ¦.and I have a lot of them. @_@
I thought I had all the neat component stereo gadgets and here you are rocking it with a dot matrix printer! I'm jealous! D:
Mine at least (mind you it has an AUG upgraded BIOS) boots directly to the hard drive without needing a boot floppy.
We actually first inquired with the local waste depot and as soon as we said the magic "PCB" word we were told we could not drop it off. They had to send us a special box, put them in the box, tape them a certain way and call to have a service pick the boxes up and send them to a place on the coast.
A friendly reminder as a video follow-up (because it AGAIN decided to launch early...) that the safety doesn't stop when the camera isn't rolling. Handle all products contaminated with PCB's with caution and always follow local disposal regulations.
This is stuff so spicy we had to ship it away.
Preparing to explain to the board the second catastrophic fiscal year.
Noting to the board an anomaly in economy logging prior to driving to VCF MidWest.
Charts N' Things.
This 3M projector is slick. Hot-swappable bulbs, folds away with a handle and doesn't run super hot.
Dammit Tech Tangents!
I already own a Sharp QA-50 mono panel and I decided itβs time to upgrade to a color panel. :p
For tomorrow's video we're handling hazardous materials
Thank you to the last person who managed to scuff this Diablo head so bad I canβt get this one off. >:/
This was not the 5 kilograms of screws! That was only $2.10CAD in GST. >_>
I didn't realize until now that if a Canadian ebay seller puts an item up in $ USD, not only do they screw you over on cost and shipping via the nearly 30% exchange markup, but ebay also processes the Canadian taxes in $ USD as well, then converts it to $ CAD and delivers you poop on a plate. π
I have been advised this could be taken out of context.
Your context is the pictured CV boot. Carry on.
Three years and itβs already split.
They donβt make rubber parts like they used to! π‘
Time for a temporary RTV fix.
I just published my `lisaobj` tool for dumping (and eventually working with) Lisa object and executable files! github.com/eschaton/lis... (ANSI C99, MIT license.)
