Each of these enemies had so many hit points that would have been impossible in this case. And that's even with us playing in a very high magic, very kind of OP game. (DM gives us lots of powerful magic items.) But the sorcerer casting that spell was just RAW. No fighter could compete.

The sorcerer in my D&D game cast psychic scream against some enemies that were vulnerable to psychic damage and all together did 1152 damage on that turn (spread out against 8 targets). Meanwhile, my fighter questioned what he's doing with his life as he made his 3 melee attacks on his turn.

I was thinking the same thing, particularly as Santos is trying to use it to transcribe her charting and is constantly interupted. Whatever it transcribes has got to be a complete mess.
