What can I say? The stuff that almost always comes back to cause problems is what you think you know that just ain’t so, even if it’s just a dumb joke about a chicken.

I feel like the majority of us have probably never considered an alternate meaning for that joke, and this conversation has been a useful reminder to remain open to listening to differing perspectives.

A coworker of mine solved this problem by planting a Nespresso machine that he picked up on sale on his desk in our shared office.

When I was a wee lad my grandparents lived at the end of the Roxham Rd., and I cannot begin to describe the difficulty I have reconciling the hardline attitude of the pequistes with my memories of the warmth and kindness and acceptance of difference of the people in that area.

When I was a kid, the Islanders were in the midst of their streak and my allegiance was firmly with Mike Bossy. Many Wayne Gretzky hockey cards found their way into the spokes of my bicycle, and time has not given me a reason to regret those decisions

My good wife just noted that the change to DST is just over a week away and in my current frame of mind the lost hour of sleep just feels like piling on.

I looked at the forecast and decided I should take some time this morning to restake my claim. The whole endeavour has exhausted me far more than it should have and left me longing for the end of Farch*.
