Yeah, it makes sense and it's certainly the least worst of the 2 options. But at the same time, I'd like to see one of the wealthiest companies in the world legally challenge the government on what is a very bad move. They've certainly got the legal capacity and strength to do so.
Indeed, but they've challenged laws in the past without implementation. I'm surprised they didn't appear to legally challenge it on this occasion (Maybe they did, but it doesn't appear that way!)

Bluesky has been somewhat luckily that there has been a large migration to the platform, but there is still a HUGE number of folks on Twitter, Instagram etc.
Others like Telegram, Signal, Mastodon and even Threads (yes, I know it's owned by Meta) have tried, but the engagement just isn't there.
The problem with leaving these platforms is engagement, or lack thereof. Many have tried to leave WhatsApp, Instagram etc. But when the majority of the people you want to connect with are using these, there's very little benefit in moving somewhere else where you're just gonna be lonely.
⭐ Some good news this morning. Google will remove existing ratings & reviews on Google Maps for schools based in the UK and Ireland & turn off the ability to leave ratings & reviews in the future 🇬🇧 🇮🇪
