A sympathizer with libertarian politics because I hate all forms of domination and hierarchy. 32. Minors do not follow-no liberals or Zionists.

Any time you post about something outside the USA on this app, you are met with people orientalizing and massively oversimplifying complex situations. It is incredibly frustrating, and it is why I generally do not engage here about the things I cover in Myanmar and Kurdistan.

Liberal discourse on Mullin has far too often strayed into offensive and misleading tropes about Indigenous people, or mockery of his unusual name. This is wrong, classist, counterproductive, and actively hurtful to people I suspect liberals have no intention of hurting.

There are a lot of things to be mad at Sen Mullin for, but now is not the time for people who have no special insight to revive their takes on Cherokee identity & police how Indigenous people should appear.

This shows the sort of data that Proton Mail, which prides itself both on end-to-end encryption and that it's only governed by Swiss privacy law, can provide to third parties. In this case, the FBI. @evystadium.bsky.social has more.

ICE detains reporter Estefany RodrΓguez in Nashville - Nashville Banner Reporter Estefany RodrΓguez, detained by ICE with no arrest warrant, may face deportation. Her attorneys seek immediate review of the legality of her case.

ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. She’s married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.

They’ve already sent her to Louisiana.

disappointing to see how many American left outlets seem to think the appropriate response to the attack on Iran is to do a soft pro regime stance. Just like anyone else, people in Iran deserve the right to govern themselves. Seeing their freedom as tool in domestic politics is an imperialist stance

Was quite a relief at the start of the week - I found fascist graffiti in the building entrance and wondered if I was being dramatic, but one of the local antifa said no, that’s a new development in this area, and cleaned it up. Things are slowly but definitely intensifying in Berlin.

I know everyone is watching what’s happening in Iran, but Ice arrested another set of journalists for reporting on their black bagging of American citizens in Nashville last night.

Louisiana lawsuit targeting abortion pill telehealth could ripple nationwide, providers warn A judge is weighing whether to roll back a federal policy change that allows mifepristone to be dispensed by a local pharmacy or by mail

β€œIt is completely inappropriate for Louisiana to try to export its own restrictive laws in this way.”

A federal judge in Louisiana is weighing whether to roll back telehealth access to mifepristone, of which people already facing barriers to care would bear the brunt, @alexmar.bsky.social writes.

I actually think much of the public is basically aright on this. A great many people indeed have this attitude of scepticism, aren't so blood thirsty as the worst propagandists would have us. Yet for some reason, at least here in the UK, there is a terrible filter for access to our journalist class.

Wars are extremely hard things to justify. It is intrinsic to what they are that they tend to death, destruction, and misery. Given this and some knowledge of history, one's default attitude towards powerful people purporting to do the world some great benefit by war should be extreme scepticism.

Kalshi employees "kind of understand that without the tweets and the streamers and all of the social-media stuff that the traders do for them, usually just for free, their marketing would be a lot harder," said Jack Campion, 20, a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Kalshi affiliate.
In September, Kalshi briefly signed up a 15-year-old videogame streamer who goes by vertid online to promote its brand on X as an affiliate.
A week later, Kalshi ended the partnership.
"Yo brother, legal team confirmed that we can't work with minors rn," a Kalshi employee wrote to the user in messages reviewed by the Journal. "Kinda sad tbh."

Call it end-times fascism, or Toscano's Late Fascism, there is a real crisis faced by capital but it is not merely a crisis of production and profit but an existential crisis, a crisis of climate, a crisis of futurity itself. Speculation reaches its end in the non existence of a speculative future

06.03.2026 05:20 πŸ‘ 72 πŸ” 8 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

So instead we get war, death, apocalypse, rubble. This is ultimately all that fascism can actually produce, as its smartest people merely provide a figleaf, paving the way for its suicidal patriarchs to indulge in their death drives
