At least they offer all the tools for a non-AI assisted localization to be made if anybody wants to pick it up, so we'll probably see something different in the future. The ironic part is the plot of this game is SEGA built an AI super computer that recruits you to help save the company. 🤪

I first learned LSDJ and do it similarly. I set 10 and 20 for the pulse channels, then 00 for the WAV channel because I put bass and drums mostly in there, then 30 for the noise channel for percussion or unique instruments. In MilkyTracker though I make a big mess because it's not like LSDJ. 🤪

I used this loop for a joke-themed song but it's so good I'll probably include a goofy samples-free version on the album as an extra.

About a week ago Indy (www.indyfullstop.com) was streaming a serenade and I commented during one of the songs that involved the word burning that if he started screaming in pain during those parts it would be funnier. He did it, so I sampled them for learning MilkyTracker. 🤪

I also found it funny reading the reviews from back in the day about the game and how a lot of critics said the controls were too complicated compared to Tetris. Sounds like a skill issue because the game's tutorial makes it very simple and easy to understand. 🤪

I started playing Wario's Woods again since it's been ages since I played it again and it's still super fun. I'm kind of surprised Nintendo never built upon this and made a newer version with smoother controls. Maybe I should finally learn to program games competently and make a game inspired by it.

It doesn't even need to be a Tuesday.

I received an email about a class action suit against G. Skill for supposedly mislabeling their RAM, was looking at the ridiculous price of RAM now when looking at my previous orders, and all I can think of now is one of the first songs I made in LSDJ inspired by doing a memory test.

I'm also looking forward to @subvert.fm 's official launch because after receiving and reading through their zine and browsing and testing the site it feels like it will be a better alternative in every aspect since the concept is for everything to be artist owned and managed.

The main place I can think of still is Flickr.

I started playing Trials of Mana since the last time I played this was in the early 2000's as the fan translation of Seiken Densetsu 3, which apparently was a ROM hacking marvel but Trials is much better. The graphics and music in this game are still absolutely amazing and gorgeous for a SNES game.

This is as bad as the time I ordered an imported game and requested a box instead of a bubble mailer and they shipped it in a wrinkled piece of cardboard wrapped in plastic with no cushioning. 😵‍💫

I feel like there's a dust machine somewhere in my house because a full layer of dust settles all over my stuff in a single day and I have an air filter running in my room plus a whole house air filter. Dust still forms on everything again in a few hours after dusting and cleaning everything.

I've been working on some very experimental music for an album and it makes me realize I might be better at sound design than conventional musical composition. I just enjoy mixing weird noises. 🙃

All the Linux handheld machines that copy past aesthetics are where the actual portable game devices went to. Mainstream portable gaming now is like having a Game Gear except it's somehow even bigger and still has poor battery life.
