Basallo was on the bench last night vs a righty, so maybe they came close to calling him up as they worked the phones.

I'm an Orioles fan in Durham watching him this weekend, and I'm torn about whether he should be promoted (bat yes, glove ehh). Earlier, I thought heβd just replace OβHearn at 1st after a trade, but now that heβs catching more, maybe they still see him as a catcher (but that could be out of need)?
Are you just curious, or do you think the Orioles should promote the 20 yo now despite his current catching skills, the loss of a year of salary control for a potential generational hitter, and the risk of missing out on a bonus draft pick, given their position in the standings?
Also home to the Atlanta Apollos (1973) & the Beat (2001).The 1st soccer game of record at the stadium (then known as Grant Field) was between amateur sides representing Atlanta (w/ a no. of GA Tech students) & Lithonia on Feb. 4, 1922. I wrote about it here:

Published in the Atlanta Journal #OTD in 1911 - plans for an intrasquad βsoccorβ scrimmage at Marist College. Among the players was Charles βWahooβ Guyon, who attended the infamous Carlisle Indian Industrial School and later worked as a sales mgr for the A.G. Spalding & Bros Atlanta store.
I think if you like soccer you should watch the MLS Cup Final and I will not be moved from my position.
