I am so fucking tired of having to turn that shitty autocorrection off every fuckign day

This single setting in teams that for some reason appeared recently has been driving me insane.
Absolute game changer turning that horrible thing off

Sums up how I felt when I realised Copilot is even in fucking Notepad these days..

These PRs are so satisfying to make...

This years most crazy Advent of Code solver so far gotta be /u/Murph03 who invented a a language called "SantAS". You code with elves... they are connected stack machines
Love the creativity!

Currently on a consulting gig that is mainly about reducing complexity by reducing amount of code and moving parts.
I think we're at -2k LOC by now in that code base and it feels awesome. I'm pretty sure negative LOC is far superior over LOC as a metric for productivity...

Advent of Code - Day 01
Great first day of this years puzzle :)

Happy AoC'ing πβ¨
#AoC #AdventOfCode
Pretty happy with the change the format of advent of code. Less days to stress about and no global leaderboard to feed into imposter syndrome π
#aoc
Yep, admission controllers (and things like OPA/Gatekeeper or Kyverno) can definitely help put guardrails in place. For critical resources like the control plane, youβd usually also combine RBAC, restricted contexts, and backups/DR rehearsals β defense in depth rather than a single safeguard.
Accidentally deleted my Kubernetes control plane. Nothing tests your DR plan quite like raw panic. #k8s #DevOops
Writing requirements in a public tender is easily the most difficult stuff I've done in my consulting career...
Integrating legacy systems with cloud, code K8s operators, elaborate IaC workflows, any coding language is a peace of cake compared to having Word as your IDE producing .docx artifacts...
Some people wear overstuffed work calendars like a badge of honor. Itβs not leadership.
Good leaders let go of power and push decisions to the people who actually do the work.
Itβs so silly how some organizations are structured around meeting room availability

Built a tiny Python service to turn the Team Topologies site into a usable RSS feed β because there is none... Runs great on my NAS alongside Miniflux.

That feeling when you crush a SOAP header validation error after a week of debugging, voodoo, sacrificial animals and way too much coffee...

Iβll even take a battle-hardened JS dev or a grumpy sysadmin or dba over the new wave of Promptstitutes any day. At least their code isnβt AI-slop shovelled at lightspeed....

Just locked in my hotel for Kubernetes Community Days Denmark this October π Looking forward to great talks, hallway chats, and meeting the #CloudNative community!
Ticket already acquired well in advanced... :)

Absolutely baffled that we slice IT educations in Denmark by almost 30% this summer while talking about digital sovereignty #politics #paradox #denmark
A cartoon showing a developer asking for a simple queue for async integrations, then a PM sets up PoCs, steering committees, architect boards and advisory boards
βWe just need a simple message queue for async integration.β
Then someone mentions Kafka.
Then it has to be active-active.
Then a steering committee is formed.
Then architecture diagrams.
Then governance.
Existential dread...

Had a heated windows moment today... Docker all of a sudden didn't work and I was 5 minutes from nuking that shitty os on my last device when I got ti to work again

Generated a node and php file upload service using bolt.new
Both are vulnerable. You can play around with the vulnerabilities here github.com/Lillevang/bo...
#hacking #security #ai #generatedcode
New hobby! Vibecode solutions and hack them... bolt.new is really cool and fun to interact with, but it sure does some interesting stuff in terms of security.
I asked it to make a file upload and hosting service and got it to make both XSS and reverse-shell vulnerabilities

Super fascinated by all kinds of politicians, subject matter experts and thought leaders having opponions on cloud exit strategies lately.
It's being pushed as a political contingency tool but in reality it should be a part of any healthy business...

I wrote an article about my reflections on #KubeCon + #CloudNativeCon EU 2025
www.linkedin.com/pulse/kubeco...
ffs... Are you going to tarrif the world again tomorrow???
#marketmanipulation
Taking an hour or two out of the schedule to write some python I've wanted to write a lot the past week...
I can work when I get old(er)
Have so many projects I wanna code but I'm too tired after work and logistics with kids... π₯±
Either sacrifice sleep / health or billable hours. Neither is nice π
#TiredConsultantDad
Really interesting how many clients are following up on liberation day with contingency plans and exit strategies of public cloud. I don't blame 'em. If EU slaps on 10-20% tax on US cloud services the business case for private clouds looks really promising
