The 2025 event showed impressive growth, raising more funds than previous years despite having fewer high-profile streamers. As Col, Co-founder and Creative Director at Few and Far noted, "We’re raising more with less," highlighting how the event has become more impactful with each iteration.
What started as a pilot in 2023 has grown into a cracking annual fundraiser that's now raised over £20,000 across just 9 total days of streaming. This year's event saw 46 gamers come together for more than 85 streams over a full weekend in March, showcasing not just gaming but a bunch of challenges.
The annual Get Together Through Gaming (GTTG) event, co-created and hosted by Few and Far alongside Leeds Mind, has once again shown that gaming communities can be powerful forces for positive change.

In the heart of Leeds, something brilliant happened this spring. Gamers from across the city united for a weekend of streaming, challenges, and community support that raised an impressive £8,261.73 for @leedsmind.bsky.social Mind.

They may improve what you had but fundamentally if your content is just made to be more accessible then you shouldn’t need a third party tool. Many overlays get in the way of the tools users who rely on them need - so they can often be more of a hindrance than a help.
