I commission and stream the Blood Bowl Mid-Atlantic Mauling League! I also post about games of all sorts, programming & software engineering, toys, cartoons, and other dumb shit. https://evaunit02.com http://twitch.tv/evaunito2 https://maml.club
For all of the problems GameStop gave us when it was at its zenith, its biggest crime is in all of the retro games with fuckin' GameStop price sticker residue on them.
Yeah, I saw that today has a high of 26C and Thursday a high of...8C, heh.
The "next time on..." segments are my very favorite part of Sakura Wars games.
I find it incredible that we have giant metal dragons that fly around and take us anywhere in the world within hours.
Whenever life has you down, remember this one shining ray of sunshine: soap = hope.
The view at 36,000 feet.
@aarongiles.com's work on the emulation side of DREAMM is stellar but can we take a minute appreciate how fun this front-end is?
Folks out there will berate Clair Obscur for being "a fake JRPG which is too much of an action game" but then will get super excited for a new Tales game.
The biggest issue with LLMs is that they embolden people to believe they are correct about matters they are very much not.
I find it so weird when indie game developers site completely disparate sources of inspiration for their games.
"Our game is like Earthbound, Nier, Duke Nukem 3D, and Tokimeki Memorial all wrapped up in a Final Fantasy Tactics package."
I have a buddy who swears by being able to preheat his oven while on the way home. That just sounds terrifying to me.
It is a crime just how little people know about Dani Bunten and her games.
"A legendary golden age flight sim. The perfect balance between realism and arcade with retro glidecore graphics."
Who is the person in that marketing department who decided to dress up 30 year-old graphics with the term, "glidecore"?
Living in the limelight, the universal dream for those who wish to seem.
Those who wish to be must put aside the alienation; get on with the fascination, the real relation, the underlying theme.
There was nothing wrong with it in the first place!
Don't copy that floppy. You wouldn't steal a car. Well, unless that car was being used to train an LLM. Then, I guess it's fine. But only if it's training our LLM, not if it's training your personal LLM, you thief.
Goodbye, Super Sentai.
Sailor Moon is so great.
I wonder if folks today can appreciate how, in the 90s, we bought games like Resident Evil: Director's Cut and Tobal No. 1 solely for their included demos of Resident Evil 2 and Final Fantasy VII, respectively.
Go!Go!7188 were one of the greats.
On to our Blood Bowl semi-finals! 2026 is the year of the humans!
My human team is in the quarter-finals!
A human team full of Optimus Primes is my kind of team.
I did about 20% of my total shovelling today: just enough so the mailman doesn't die.
I really need a snow blower.
See Oneupmanship and Global Survival.
I argue there's a genre of board game called "Capitalism, Rah Rah". They are typically variants of Monopoly with a thematic focus on economics and/or finance...and they are always design by folks who have no idea how markets really work. The purpose of the games are to be a political soap box.
Limber up.
Time is up.
Fuck shit up. Don't forget about it.
My coffin's all I see, lately.
Robot stop!
Just three episodes of Super Sentai left.
