I think that's right - what Frank did was simultaneously to say "we will lose games", make us fear losing, & fear asserting ourselves, immediately after the most (rhetorically if not always actually) this-is-who-we-are coach of all time. That is going to create whiplash...
As someone on one of the pods said, if you were used to playing higher up the pitch, where you excel, & where the team can compensate for lack of ball retention with high pressing, & then you’re forced to play deep, defend the box, & “respect” opponents, that’s going to end badly. #COYS

Extremely niche complaint but the only reason I ever began supporting Spurs is because I moved to Australia and it became too difficult to support my true love, Port Vale, from afar because we kept getting relegated. Now I face a season where BOTH teams could be demoted. What is the point.

I know people place different dates when the rot set in definitively, but for me the coup de grâce was the sacking of Ange (belief & trust destroyed) & then of Levy (no one to fear), with a badly judged, hubristic sense of “now the proper adults are in charge”. It may be Schumpeter time. #COYS
