You also have to remember that you and I know Substack's politics are bullshit? But the general public is looking on every platform for news right now that's not from the corporations.

Are we doing those people a disservice by not being where they expect to find news they can trust and use?

It's the same problem with (old) Twitter in that journalists settle into a platform because other journalists are there.

So the concern is (and I'm in this boat), if I leave Substack, am I going to be disconnected from the other journalists? Am I going to miss an important story?
