It’s Mountain Monday! Back once again at Joshua Tree National Park. #JoshuaTreeFan ! I was talking with a friend yesterday about how the Park helps me feel alive, present, and in my body. I long for a hot tub, under the stars, soaking the beautiful aches of an earlier long hike away.

It’s Mountain Monday! Today’s view is from historic Cherokee Ranch, located south of Denver, CO. It sits on the top of a mountain and looks across the valley at the towering Rocky Mountains and foothills to the west. Nice views, historic house, good tea to drink. Great place to visit!

In a spectacle of nature's infinite power, glorious Mount Fitz Roy, battered by furious winds, emerges from the clouds. Patagonia's mountains can be hidden for days, but when they clear, the beauty is endless!

I’ve never been to Spain, and one day I hope to visit. I’ve had other cities on my list (Seville, Ronda, of course Madrid and Barcelona), but didn’t know much about Valencia. Your pics are doing a good job promoting the city😀. Thanks for sharing!

Love aviation and wanted to be a commercial pilot growing up. Even wrote to Herb Kelleher (and got a response!). Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be. So now I enjoy looking out the window of my economy seat and salute those who pursued their dreams. Look forward to your posts!

True. There’s typically always a good place to eat and something interesting in every place, even the smallest towns. If you ever find yourself in Chicago and need recommendations, always happy to promote the great sights in this city to others!

Wow, that’s definitely a fair number. 216 hours on one airline. Hope some of those hours were to fun locations and it wasn’t just all work.

I’m a fan of Jalama Beach. It’s about 1 hour from Santa Barbara and south of Lompoc. Secluded beach with a general store and a grill. Costs $10 for day use and parking can be hard to get. However, you can walk the beach and not have people or buildings in sight. Just you, the cliffs, and ocean 💙

You know, the first peaks of green plants awakening in spring, the green of St. Patrick’s Day, warmer days, and other good things have me eager for March and this spring. I feel like good moments are ahead, if we can get through this cold winter. Hope you are doing well!

I visited Cuba before the pandemic. I loved the people I met! Havana felt alive with music (below😀), art, and kindness! I didn’t have a great experience with government officials, so not sure I’d return. However, I wish the best for the Cuban people, and this story is sad💔. I hope tourists return 🙏

Interestingly, my few have all been extremely memorable 🥵 for me as well. Glad you’ve had some good fortune too!
