And sometimes, How?
I wonder if there's a connection between the lack of any stupid rules of engagement and the US/Israeli missile strikes that killed eighty or ninety schoolchildren 36 hours ago.

Is this closer to your space @markrussinovich.bsky.social ? Worth dusting off and Agentifying? Or release as open source so that I can take a stab?
Sorry, it was calendar.help Calendar.help: A Virtual Meeting Scheduling Assistant - Microsoft Research www.microsoft.com/en-us/resear...
@microsoft.com had a beta service called calendar.ai that was ok, pre-generative AI. It worked well for simple meeting coordination, but blew up horribly at times with large meetings. I suspect it would be much more feasible with modern AI. I miss it. @scott.hanselman.com any insider view?
Having a puppeteer like Netanyahu in power, with an incentive to fast-track the end-times and a buffoon with the ability to agitate nuclear warfare is not a great combo.

Not creepy at all....
Why does the discover feed show already followed accounts? It makes no sense.
Dagnabbit, liked the wrong episode pca.st/episode/8a8c...

I don't recall any attempts to monetize the experience other than for enterprise, private knowledge bases, so I don't understand your reasoning. Agree that fun stuff can be free, but would caution that often fun things appear to be free, but come at a hidden, non-obvious price.
Wonder if @microsoft.com would consider acquiring StackOverflow?
If there's a need, and I think there is likely a new need stemming from AI, it will survive or resurface in a different way. Ideally, they need a monetisation strategy that incentives human contributors and engagement for free, but machine use, API/MCP charged.
It seems to have been on a steady decline since 2014 tbh, then accelerated by Gen AI. I've been a long time user and contributor, and it started to feel like they lost momentum in terms of rewarding contribution in a way that matters to users.
I'm not sure if this is the original disk, but it's likely one of the first stiffy I owned in the 90s. I remember being blown away by Dr Genius, one of the few apps I had that supported mouse input.
