So am I understanding correctly that they do this well before the initial patent expires so they can transition patients before anyone has an opportunity to create a generic version? And theyβre pulling the original from the market before generics are available, too?

My #T1D 9 y/o relies on services that federal funding provides our rural school district. These are not fluffy, feel-good services, theyβre life-saving care and supplemental educational services. If youβre not calling for your kids then how about calling for mine? #DOE

Every. Day.
Putting some finishing touches on something Iβve been working toward for a bit. Using conversational AI instead of wall-of-text forms for intake so I can probe for context and clarity and get high-quality inputs instead of static forms. Loving the depth and insights of the inputs now! #buildinpublic
Yes. This. Iβll get down on their level and talk through their needs and try to understand their frustrations all day long but holy shit what am I supposed to do when that doctors appt is in 10
minutes and Iβm sorry weβre taking my car and not moms car and can we just talk about it on the way??? π«
Definitely get that! Also a nontech founder, but SaaS (sold last year, trying to figure out what's next). Windsurf lets me be product manager while delegating code to AI, which feels really natural compared to how I worked with my CTO. All of these tools make me feel like a kid in a candy store tho!
Sounds like youβre enjoying lovable! Iβve gotten hooked on Windsurf, myself. Tried v0 and bolt.new but just couldnβt get into them. Havenβt really tested lovable out much though!
Last week's #CrewOfTheWeek was an idea validator. This week? A CrewAI Tool building crew. Takes a descriptive input and outputs a custom tool py file + detailed documentation for using it in my #CrewAI crews. So far it's built an Unsplash API tool, a Weather tool and a keyword tool. #buildinpublic
Iβm not familiar. Can you explain?
The algo knew you changed your mind, then pumped it around the time that happened. π
Challenging myself to dive deeper into learning #CrewAI with a personal Crew of the Week. This week: a crew that takes an idea, does a shload of research to spit out a 30-ish page viability report that considers my personal priorities and gives a go/no-go with supporting reasoning. π€―

Yessssssss!
Thatβs the (potentially) million dollar question, isnβt it? For me it comes down to the season of life. Sold a business last year so, for me, itβs been βplay with new things and learnβ season. Kids are young, so something that affords more family time. Another build season when theyβre older. π€·ββοΈ
This has been on my mind a ton lately, that I need to go on a "new" fast. It's exciting to poke at new stuff and learn but at some point I just have to sit down and build something from start to finish, even if it's not using the newest, latest, greatest, shiniest toy. :)
Spending the morning with @matthew-berman.bsky.social and Joao Moura getting my CrewAI learn on. Debugging an issue with a flow and I think my solution is in here... www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAsr...
Been there. Itβs an uphill slog every. single. day.
Any #CrewAI gurus out there? Having problems with a flow. One crew runs kickoff_for_each_async and I canβt for the life of me get the final task to output_file with a unique filename. Just get the literal {slug}.md then it overwrites that file every time it saves another piece of content until π» π₯
π slow π clap π
Reminder: before you spend a bunch of time and energy building a feature, #RTFM. Just build a massive (non-functioning) human input step into a #CrewAI flow just to accidentally find all I had to do was add βhuman_input: trueβ to the task. #buildinpublic #failinpublic #learninpublic
Yeah, I was all about jumping into a paid plan but their new tiers are laughable if youβre using the tool extensively every day. And no ability to input my own OpenAI or Anthropic API keys when I inevitably run out of credits. π
ββ¦ and please, for the love of all things holy and good and pure, stop changing things that are completely unrelated.β
Can you do that in windsurf? I did it in Cursor but couldnβt find the option in windsurf.
Blew through my #Windsurf Pro Premium SuperDuper Gold Exclusive (whatever they call that plan??) credits in like 3 days. Looks like I'll be using #Cascade Base for a little less than a month. Anyone have success with their unlimited base model? #CodeWithAI #BuildInPublic
Absolutely blown away by #Windsurf pretty much every time I use it. Started with an idea this morning and made ridiculous progress on it throughout the day today. Unless I'm jinxing myself by saying this, I should have something launch-worthy by the end of the weekend. π€―

Do you even #buildinpublic if you donβt post a coffee shop photo every now and then? Also, my screen is gross.
Night two in the hospital for our BoyKid, who got a very aggressive infection around his insulin pod site that we just couldnβt get out ahead of. Looking much better, hoping to head home tomorrow. π€ #t1d
How the hell has Sara Bareilles never been on Tiny Desk, @nprmusic.bsky.social???
