@drnoble nothing's changed recently for that! It happens when the browser doesn't support WebGL. Working for me on FF 147.0.1.

Nighttime lights projected on a globe.
The nighttime lights layer has been updated with data from 2024. The colour scale has changed a bit as the source data format has changed.

The Open Infrastructure Map JOSM style has been updated to render voltages for substations, and handle DC and railway traction frequencies.
Find it in the Map Paint Style preferences under Open Infrastructure Map.

There's now a @wikidata property for Global Energy Monitor links, and Open Infrastructure Map now displays this link when available.

The solar generation heatmap layer has been updated to finally take into account power plants which don't have generators mapped. Plant output is (roughly) estimated from area if there is none tagged.

We're now running MapLibre 5.0.0-pre.3 on https://openinframap.org, which seems to have fixed the rendering issues we were seeing related to the globe mode.
If you spot any other weirdness, please let us know so we can pass any issues upstream.
