This WIP shows the metallic better because I took it with reflections from above and no polarizing filter.
Colored paper is a really good suggestion! I have a light box that's too small that I've been trying to use with various glass colors I have on hand and it hasn't been easy lol
Haha your recommendation is exactly how I am torn - between a deep blue or a frosted neutral. I even debating a silver metallic (but I think that clashes with the gold metallic of the candlesticks that doesn't appear well in this image)

Tagging is key, plus you could always add text to the body indicating if its art vs irl stuff

This was the most stressful thing I've done in glass to date haha. Turns out, uranium dust is not good for you....so the precautions when cutting this had to be pretty intense. Also fuuuuuuck doing 18 individual teeth haha

I never used a vice, but I had a pair of pliers in each hand. That also helps to make sure the rings don't deform when you bend them
It's definitely full Persian 6in1. Pretty tricky to rebuild from mid-chain, but doable
