Hello, rest of world. Today in Britain the leaders of mainstream political parties have been debating whether putting native woodland creatures on our banknotes is emblematic of our tragic decline as a patriotic nation, and we hope things are equally weird with you.
In todayβs NZ Herald
LANDERS: Why did the FBI seize election records in AZ? TRUMP: They probably thought the election was rigged LANDERS: It wasn't though TRUMP: Oh really? How do you know? LANDERS: Your own AG said it TRUMP: If you say it wasn't rigged, you're a rotten reporter LANDERS: Where's the evidence?
LANDERS: Why did the FBI seize election records in AZ?
TRUMP: They probably thought the election was rigged
LANDERS: It wasn't though
TRUMP: Oh really? How do you know?
LANDERS: Your own AG said it
TRUMP: If you say it wasn't rigged, you're a rotten reporter
LANDERS: Where's the evidence
my watch told me that the other day when I sat down with a thump.
I have not "had a fall". I have sat down.

In breaking news, it turns out I am older than the ayatollah.
I ... really ... I mean...
I don't know what to make of this turn of events.

Who could've seen this coming?!?
Me (and a lot of others), such as here in 2018: medium.com/arc-digital/...
The always-wrong insistence that the Iranian govt is on the verge of collapse and would topple with a pushβand then a better govt would rise in its placeβhas been driving policy. Seriously.
Speaking at Parliament, NZ First leader Winston Peters told reporters he had serious concerns about vaccine safety. "Hundreds of thousands of people have been affected here. They need to know the truth. They need to know why they were denied the truth." ACT's David Seymour said he was open to the idea of a select committee inquiry. "A lot of people felt they were ostracized from society and if this helps them feel seen and heard, then it might not be a bad thing." Even with the support of NZ First and ACT, a select committee inquiry would require the backing of the National Party. National leader and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon dodged questions over whether he supported an inquiry, saying only that there were "very serious questions" for Labour to answer.
For the avoidance of doubt this is the leaders of all three coalition parties deciding to use, to varying degrees, vaccine conspiracies utterly disproven by facts as an electoral weapon against Labour.
The Golden Triangle. A day in NZ's self sustaining rail future!
Air New Zealand is cancelling flights faster than National doing Policy U Turns. All because of the price of oil skyrocketing straight up. If only we have an alternative ground network to move passengers that was not reliant on oil.
Like electrified inter city/region passenger rail! π

Oh, and look, here's that class action suit! That anyone with half a brain would have seen coming! From, like, a million miles away!
Just because you work in tech doesn't mean you're smart.
Exactly
I think itβs related to bush fires in Australia.
This should make NZβs anti-flouride droolers hide in shame.
Unfortunately if they are not grifting it for money, they are to stupid to understand why Mr Kill You With Measles and Germs Arenβt Real supporting their cause is so disgustingly shameful.
Fuck all you medical grifter ghouls.

Ah, Heinz. Closing the factories in New Zealand because you can.
Time to stop selling everything offshore and hoping they keep us employed instead of treating us like a cash cow.
Looking at all of you.
Tickety boo! I'm in the safe place which is very nice at the moment with (gestures wildly) all this going on.
You staying safe and well?
Sadly, this is absolutely necessary and I welcome it for at least 2 reasons: Books are personal, about sharing experience & exploring ideas - if youβve read my books, youβve met me. And a human author is *accountable* for what they/we write: we take responsibility & influences/money are traceable.
Just. Fuck. Off. π€¬

I swear. Julie K Brown of the Miami Herald has done more to uncover the truth in the Epstein files than any federal or state agent.

Yup, there's no going back.
You can literally see where this government increased our exposure to oil price shock
There is no reason for this other than oil money funding politics

It took me 5 minutes to determine that Brian Cartmell is a far right extremist with ties to white supremacists and he should be forcibly expelled from the country.

Oh totally. Some of the benign bots that deliver added value have been great. They tend to be obvious and well labelled as such and are actually doing some good. But the rest of them... the fake outrage bots, the AI video bots, the political influence bots... They can all burn in bit hell.
Maybe we can just move all the bots to a separate social media platform and be done with them.
