got past widow in about 5 or 6 tries! even beat her phase 1 on my first attempt :3
that fight is SO much fun after building up the muscle memory and internalizing how silksong wants me to fight.
i daresay i'm enjoying this replay more than i even did second time round in elden ring. impressive
running through the entire length of hunter's march and dodging everything is surprisingly fun
having got used to it, i can now say i was definitely right in thinking i'd love the reaper crest.

there's a wiki page full of songs that are ingame but not in the ost, for normal reasons (album length etc, probably) but i find it odd that there's only one version of the flea caravan theme in it.
probably not, but it would be an interesting way to frame it.
have all the pilgrims talk up the citadel and its holiness, but any npcs with sense (and quest markers) tell you to avoid the main gates like the plague.
maybe some pilgrims gloating that you'd never be let in, heathen that you are...
i find it fascinating that the silksong official soundtrack has all the act 1 side-path areas and bosses (sinner's road, bilewater, the mist and phantom, even the slab and mount fay!) before blasted steps and last judge.
i wonder if there was ever a version of the game where that was the main path?
