Oddly enough I’ve read almost no fantasy this year. My favorite book that’s closest to it though was The Bright Sword by Lev Grossman.
- when you wanna procrastinate by mindlessly scrolling, procrastinate by reading instead. You can read so much when you’re using it to avoid doing other things!
My tips for reading more are:
- get and use your library card
- have a giant To Read list made and ready to go so there’s always something that sounds interesting at the moment
- embrace audiobooks, that counts as reading too
And…
My resolution this year was to read more and be on social media less, and so far this year I’ve read 115 books and only made 59 posts on BlueSky so I am thriving 😤💖
