Off-topic; Really intrigued by the return of The 7th Guest. From the 'Myst -like' games, it's the one I played the most and it OST is sonic gold.
Fun fact; The 7th Guest was written by Matthew Costello - who also wrote the story of a little known game called DOOM 3.

text: in contrast to carmack's eternal pessimism regarding his past creations, project specialist john romero is the biggest fan of id's games that you could ever hope to meet. his enthusiasm is infectious as he plays the latest beta making his own sound effects with his mouth to compensate for the game. sound effects that haven't been added in yet. it is this mix of diehard programmer who plays games and diehard gamer who programs that ultimately makes id's games as good as they are.

I could live with low quality textures, but it looks ten times worse with the high quality, crisp characters standing on surfaces of smeared pixels straight out of a PS2 title.
Also, 'press X to doubt' about not being able to fit it on the disc. Just compress it, FFS, ZIP is still a thing.

BTW, Limited Run Games no longer does these cards as part of the base game orders – and that's because of Nintendo. Nintendo hoards trading card companies for Pokémon like OpenAI hoards SSD and RAM for ""AI"". This happened to the company doing LRG's cards.

I remembered there was still one thing yet to be featured from one of my fave penguin games; Rocketbirds!
The games were available physically only via Limited Run Games and back then that meant they also came /w trading cards. Here are the ones for the Vita and PS4 versions.
The expression on the horse's face says it all, it knows who did it.
That is a master-class rage-bait headline if I ever saw one. Bravo to the author, you really have to fight the urge to correct such denial of reality - which I'm sure was the point.
